Gordon Lawson

Gordon Lawson is Vice President of Corporate Development at Zeus Fire & Security, providers of the most technologically advanced fire and security solutions in the industry. Lawson specializes in business evaluation analysis at Zeus, which recently expanded its security-industry footprint through the acquisitions of Alert Alarm of Hawaii, SMG Security of Chicago, and UAS of Philadelphia.

Before joining the company, Lawson led development for portfolio companies centered on technology-focused business services at NewSpring Capital’s holdings group. The private equity firm nearly doubled in size during his tenure. Lawson focused on the commercial liquid power market at Marsh McLennan in Philadelphia before attending New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, where he interned with Apollo Global Management’s real estate private equity group. A 2010 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Lawson served on submarines for seven years, a global engagement that included duty in Hawaii and Guam. Lawson lives in the Philadelphia area with his wife and three children. He enjoys playing golf in his free time.
